This was a continuation into the extended Lally family research, delving into the first cousin of Margaret Lalley. This project was unique, providing an example of an ancestor born abroad in 1860 (County Galway, Ireland) who later emigrated to England finding work as a chemical manufacturer as a ‘salt cake process man’. Blending family lore, census records, historical accounts of chemical manufacturing, and customer provided pictures allowed me to bring Patrick Lally’s human experience to life.
